Enabling Work: Accommodations as an Essential Element of the RtW Process
The Job Accommodation Network (JAN), a service of the Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP), Department of Labor, provides personalized consulting, resource referrals, and tools to support employer’s SAW/RTW efforts. Presenters will utilize case studies to illustrate how JAN’s services and tools can be used in developing and sustaining a coherent accommodation process. Participants will also learn how to navigate JAN’s Workplace Accommodation Toolkit, a role-based tool with replicable accommodation policies, practices, and a suite of forms.
