How the ADA and Reasonable Accommodations Can Make or Break a RETAIN Case

Appropriate implementation of ADA and the provision of reasonable accommodations in the workplace is a significant part of a successful RTW/SAW model. In order to foster successful sustained employment outcomes, Return to Work coordinators must have a working knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA) as well as the Reasonable Accommodations Process. This CoP will equip Return to Work Coordinators, and other RETAIN team members with an understanding of the ADA Amendments Act, essential functions and reasonable accommodations.
